Plaza

A PLACE to PLANT a tale,
A PLAID weaving of work and love,
All stripes and diagonals
Displayed in the commons,
The public PLAZA, hanging for all to see–
Tender moments, vulnerable spaces

Georg’ann

Oh to be filled with air
VAPID, floating
Not questioning what’s on your PLATE.
Or anyone else’s.
The PLANK nothing more than a diving board.
Accumulating baubles, trinkets, and fruit in the PLAZA,
no concern for the hungry vendors.
Or the ragged children playing in the dirt
